Petrochemicals: polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) granules
Oman Petro supplies polyethylene and polypropylene granules to plastics converters. Each application needs a specific grade, so the useful inquiry names the polymer, the melt flow index and the process: film, injection, blow moulding, pipe or raffia.

Questions
What information do you need to quote PE or PP?
The polymer type, the melt flow index, the density for polyethylene, the process you run, the quantity and the destination. A grade name from your current supplier also helps.
What does melt flow index tell me?
How easily the molten polymer flows. Low values suit pipe and blow moulding; higher values suit thin-wall injection moulding.
